What is Note Block Studio?

Note Block Studio is a free music editor for the popular sandbox game Minecraft. With this software, you can easily make and edit Note Block music. Note Block Studio grants the ability to export your song into Minecraft, making your expectation to reality. It is also used for people who truly make songs using only Note Block sounds without building real Note Block Redstone builds just like composing music for a complete soundtrack for a server or making an albums.

Why NBS is named as OpenNBS?

While the software itself is still named as the original "Note Block Studio", OpenNBS is the name of our continuation project. OpenNBS is a continuation project for Note Block Studio and is open-sourced. The original Note Block Studio, which was discontinued, was owned by Stuff by David. Like other open-source projects out there, this project is developed by many people who have contributed to add their own code or yours in a collaborative way.

Why Note Block Studio is considered as the best music editor for Minecraft?

Note Block Studio has always been considered as the best tool for making note block songs since its early years. It was known for having the power to export your Note Block song into schematics, which can then be imported into Minecraft, or do the opposite. Note Block Studio is user-friendly for people who do not know a thing about redstone engineering, even if you want to create music using note blocks.
