Before we start learning to compose a song in Note Block Studio, you need to learn most of the utilities Note Block Studio has.

Workspace

What you're seeing right now is the workspace used for placing note blocks.

The menu bar is a small, horizontal bar containing a dropdown menu in the GUI of Note Block Studio. It's located at the top left of the screen. These functions include opening and closing files, editing notes, changing your settings and preferences, and the help and support menu.
